Polish Dill Pickle Recipe
You have to start with smaller to medium size cukes. Even these in the image are bigger than i’d like. I didn’t realize they were going to pop after 4 weeks.
Get them washed real good and set aside.
Ingredients
- 3 Garlic Cloves
- 3 Bay Leaves
- 3 Heads of Dill
- 1 tsp. of Gorczyca Biala
- 4-5 Chunks of Horseradish Root
- Few Pepper Corns
- Few Allspice
- 3-5 Chunks of Carrots
Put that in side a clean mason jar first, then nicely stack your little ‘gherkins inside.
Ready For Wet Ingredients
See them happy little buggers all nice and bunched in there? Don’t be cheap, fit as many as you can get in there.
- 1.5 L of Water
- 120mL of Pickiling Vinegar
- 2 tsp. Sugar
- 1 tsp. of Salt
Boil it up to rolling and hold for a 2 minutes; then quickly transfer to jars.
You’ll also have to pasteurize. This is done with large pot with towel inside it so the glass don’t break when the water boils. Fill it with water just so when you place four jars you can boil hard without spilling. Get a hard boil on for about 5 min then pull them out and let them chill; lid side down.
Now just let them sit for atleast a couple weeks and your good to go!
Electroculture Grows Produce Fast & Large
Indeed, that’s almost a small shrub. But, nope that’s Dill. Largest stalk was maybe 12′. Electroculture promised 200-300% gains. I think it’s pretty close.
